Esacpe Agency is a 2-room venue in middle of 10th and 3rd Arr. in Paris. We did both the rooms together during our visit to France.

Escape room review of Dr. Kang's Apartment
In this mission, you have to infiltrate the apartment of Dr. Kang, an evil scientist and get a sample of an undetectable compound, strong enough to destroy the planet. The gamemaster/host at Escape Agency is your liaison officer who has been spying on the mastermind and has set up a support system for you to get in and out in time.
Entering the apartment was in itself a puzzle and we liked it! The apartment's decor was very much like a regular 2-room apartment. This was a non-linear game with multiple puzzles converging to one element in the second half of the room. We're not a fan of working separately in a strictly non-linear setup but this was an exception since it converged.
The room was fun with good distractions and hidden clues which kept us engaged the whole time. We were constantly searching, decoding and thoroughly enjoying the room. We did not get out of the room in time due to a misunderstanding of an element in the room and that was good learning for us to not overthink or strongly assume what a clue is for.

Review of Soviet Threat
Similar to Dr. Kang's apartment, entering the Soviet base also a mystery, and is kinda hidden in plain sight. You must really see it to know it. This was a room for more than 2 people and we played it anyways (like we always do).
This is again a non-linear mission with multiple puzzles converging at the end. The ambience was very Soviet-y with all the heavy machinery and rusty elements which made it feel like a real bunker of sorts. Your mission is to restart devices that are abandoned since the fall of the Soviet Union and to connect to one of the bases and cancel the launch of the nuclear missiles.
One thing to note is that this is a 70-minute mission, and you'd need every second to complete the tasks/puzzles. Some unique elements in the game was new which we liked, and some parts confused us a bit, we had to not overthink them.
The very last part of the game was the most stressful for us because it demands that you work fast, and we could not finish it in time, we'd have needed at least 1 more minute (yeap, sometimes one minute feels like a lot in an escape room 😅). But it was still fun and engaging for us, and we do recommend this room if you're considering it.
